Fiasco puts up new single on their MySpace page
Fiasco will head back into the studio in upstate New York in July, but they've already uploaded a taste of what's to come on their MySpace page. The track is called "R&E Skateboards" and is the first new material we've heard from the trio since they put out Native Canadians back in 2008. And yes, it's rad. Check it out now.

Announcing Impose Cassette Series #2: Birthdays!
We're pleased as a direct smack in the face to call Birthdays' Hawaiian Punch Wave the second in our baby tape series.
Birthdays is the performing name of Boston, MA's Samuel Yager. He has released some early material on Breakfast of Champs, but this limited edition five song cassette is one of his earliest collector items. Stirring that blissed out bubbly electro that's been steeped in this year's Kool Aid, but resulting in a mix that doesn't dry up like so much unrefined sugar powder, Hawaiian Punch Wave is here for your consumption.

Sweet press for Total Slacker in Rolling Stone France and Pitchfork
We might not be able to read one of them, but we still think it's pretty rad Rolling Stone France and Pitchfork dropped some words (most nice) about the Crystal Necklace 7-inch. [In our best TV sales pitch voice] But that's not all! They've also graced the pages of the Village Voice and the Long Island Examiner last week. Congrats guys!

Impose cassette series kicks off with Weekends Psychedelic Mice!
We're super excited to announce the beginning of the Impose Cassette Series with Weekends' Psychedelic Mice. Featuring five tracks, including a cover of Future Islands' "Little Dreamer" and the the title track, which is from their upcoming Friends Records full-length, the Psychedelic Mice cassette is officially out now! It kicks off a run of monthly (very) limited edition cassettes with exclusive artwork. We have some amazing bands on board, so you'll have to check back to see who will be joining the club, but in the meantime, you can order a copy of the Weekends cassette here.
